The Flow Performance Alien Ambient Edition

The Flow Performance: Alien Ambient Edition was an experimental iteration of the project that took place in Hessdalen, Norway—a site famous for UFO sightings and unexplained atmospheric phenomena. This version of The Flow Performance shifted the focus from visual interaction to sound-based exploration, using field recordings, live instrumentation, and environmental improvisation.

In this iteration, microphones were installed in the natural landscape, capturing the subtle sounds of the surroundings—wind, distant echoes, and environmental resonance. These recordings became the foundation for live, improvised compositions, blending ambient textures with bass drones and experimental sonic layering.
Concept & Exploration

By integrating natural and unknown sonic elements, this version of the project expanded the idea of interactive improvisation, not just between humans and technology, but also between the performer and the environment itself.
